Class 1-3 Truck Driver

Glenat Soil & Supply has been locally owned and operated for over 13 years as one of the as one of the leading landscaping suppliers in Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We are currently looking to hire a PART-TIME CLASS 1-3 TRUCK DRIVER TO START IMMEDIATELY FOR DAY SHIFT.

We are looking for someone to work 3-4 days/week for soil and landscape material deliveries, including some Saturdays. On occasion, our construction division may need you for hauling materials and equipment. Winter hours are available for hauling snow.

Requirements :

• A valid clean driver’s license class 3 A or 1A and reliable transportation to and from our yard in Headingley off Portage Avenue. :

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

• Front end loader experience preferred, but not mandatory

• Willing to assist construction crews when necessary

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Inspect loads to ensure that materials are secure

• Follow company operating safety policies and procedures.

• Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Our hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
