Judahcare Inc. is looking for Child and Youth Worker to; provide support for private practice, work with children, youth, adolescents, and/or adults with challenging behaviours, in a variety of settings - in a client's home, in the community, hospital/healthcare environment, the developmental sector, residential & day programs, and educational settings.

Qualifications : When submitting your cover letter and resume, please highlight and address to the following:

  • Your education level - university degree/college diploma in a related field (eg. CYW/CYC) from a recognized, public, post-secondary institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years paid work experience in managing challenging and disruptive behaviour - working with individuals in residential, non-residential, child welfare, community, hospital, school and other settings.
  • Work experience in mental health, as well as any experience working with individuals of all ages with developmental challenges, dual diagnosis, FASD, Autism, and other.
  • First aid/CPR certification
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check( No later than 6 Months)
  • Ministry-approved Crisis Intervention (UMAB, CPI, TCI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
