Role Summary : This position contributes to the overall organization by providing safety support to the projects. This role primarily interacts with field crews and supervisors with the goal of being a resource in health and safety on a project level.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Support field operations with safety activities
  • Train/coach/mentor staff in policies and procedures outlined by Hall
  • Actively participate in the Health and Safety Management systems, and encourage others through leadership
  • Assist in audit safety documentation to ensure compliance
  • Perform site inspections to ensure compliance
  • Assist in injury management

Technical Skills :

  • Proficient in SiteDocs
  • Proficient in English written and spoken
  • Participate in hazard identification and control assessments
  • Conduct workplace inspections
  • Conduct incident investigations
  • Documentation implementation
  • Documentation auditing
  • Able to interpret Acts, Regulations, Codes, Standards Hold meetings and safety stand-downs

Qualifications :

  • Mandatory: Level 3 OFA
  • Years of experience: 1-5 years
  • Education: Highschool
  • Designations: NCSO,CSO (preferred not required)
  • BCCSA NCSO Courses (preferred not required)
  • Confined Space (preferred not required)
  • Fall Protection (preferred not required)
