Job Description: Oil and Gas Field Operator (Camp Position) Location: Near Fort St. John, BC Rotation Options: 7 on, 7 off 14 on, 14 off Employment Type: Employee or Subcontractor Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oil and Gas Field Operator to join our team in a camp-based position near Fort St. John, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of oil and gas production facilities, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety and environmental standards. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a travel bonus and pay above the industry average. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and control oil and gas production processes to ensure efficient and safe operations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, including pumps, compressors, separators, and pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing production. Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other field personnel and management to ensure smooth and effective operations. Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies. Participate in emergency response drills and procedures as required. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Qualifications: Previous experience in oil and gas field operations is preferred. Strong understanding of oil and gas production equipment and processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to perform fieldwork in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
