Night Shift Dispatcher

Shifts: Night-Shift Dispatcher

This position is responsible for being the liaison between the customers and the drivers to ensure pickups and drop-offs are done in a timely fashion and customer inquiries are handled professionally and accurately.

Responsibilities :

• Communicate with drivers to ensure all pickups and deliveries are done in a timely fashion and handle any of their issues or problems causing delays.

Update Events in system and notify customers at the same time.

• Make yard list (List of trucks and trailers)
• Track reefers temp and Fuel level (3 times in a shift)
• Follow up on Pickup’s and deliveries, Clear Customs, Make manifests.
• Arrange service for Breakdowns after communicating with Maintenance department.
• Must complete the work assigned by day dispatchers and leave proper notes for the next shift.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements :

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with little direction
• Must be a team player committed to maintaining desired service levels
• Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to demonstrate the ability to solve problems and willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary : $15.83-$25.36 per hour

Experience :

• dispatching: 1 year (preferred)
