Logistics Operations Coordinator

The Role : This function will be working with multiple departments internally, becoming their contact person for inventory allocation and be their go to person for all informational searches. Your work will collectively strengthen the brand's operational flow, logístical accuracy and the customer's connection to SMYTHE.

You Will :

  • Work within the Logistics Team reporting to Logistics Manager working closely with our Merchandising Team and our outside Direct to Consumer channels.
  • Oversee inventory procedures for all admin, logístical purposes.
  • Work with inside and outside partners to maintain inventory accuracy up to date.
  • Work closely with our Warehouse teams to seamlessly allocate inventory.
  • Develop and maintain standards of procedures to enhance seamless inventory flow.
  • Organize shipments to DTC channels and update related partners.
  • Provide after shipment service to DTC partners (invoices, packing lists etc.)
  • Crosscheck shipment/receival reports between warehouses.
  • Seasonal logístical preparations
  • Continuously keep open channels for communication with internal and external partners for their inquiries sharing information.

You Have :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in business admin, economics, computer science
  • Entry level to 2 years of work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems, extended knowledge of Excel.
  • Familiarity with WMS, NetSuite is a plus.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes is a plus (inventory planning, allocation)
  • A meticulous eye for detail and solid written, verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset with action-oriented drive and positive energy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and team spirit
