Service Advisor 54 North Powersports is looking for an experienced Service Advisor who can bring their extensive industry knowledge and refined processes to our team. We are a full-line BRP Powersports and Marine Dealership with an experienced core team. Our desire is to be the leading Powersports dealership, not only in our area but among our peer dealers across the country. We are not looking for someone who goes by the book but rather the one who writes the book!

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related Service industry. Powersports or Marine Industry (ATV, UTV, Watercraft, Motorcycle, Snowmobile, Boats) experience is a significant asset.
  • Proven Leader with a growth mindset and the ability to make decisions based on solid experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must!
  • An organized and reliable approach to task management and job prioritization.
  • Criminal Record Check and Drivers Abstract
  • Proficient with computers and software including but not limited to Outlook, Dealer Business Systems, and various online platforms.
  • Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Service Advisor will work in line with the service department staff and technicians
  • Communicate directly with customers, in-person, over the phone, or via our business system text messaging, to schedule their various machines in for service or repair.
  • With the information provided by the technicians, prepare and communicate repair estimates with customers.
  • Assist Service Department, in-person, and via our dealer business software to look up their requested parts and accessories needed for service quotes and/or jobs in progress.
  • Complete finished repair work orders and facilitate payment transactions from the customers.
  • Complete customer follow-ups on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Various other tasks that will ensure the successful operation of the Service Department.

Compensation and Work Schedule : The dealership operates Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am to 12:00pm. Industry competitive compensation will be based on 40-44 hour work week and paid at a base wage plus a retail performance-based bonus monthly. Wage to be determined based on the applicant's qualifications and job experience.

Extended hours may be required from time to time as needed. Scheduling will remain flexible to ensure full staff coverage and a 40-44 hour workweek is maintained.

Time-off, Holiday Pay and Health Benefit options will be in-line with Provincial Standards but to be discussed with the applicant individually.
