SHIFT TIME: Day Shift 7:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday to Friday.

Pay Rate: $17.31/hourly

JOB SUMMARY : Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and Team Lead the Warehouse Cleaner/Sanitation Associate is responsible for ensuring that the facility’s cleanliness standards are consistently upheld. Additionally, the Warehouse Cleaner/Sanitation Associate is responsible for ensuring that all parts of the building(s) are maintained in an orderly and functioning manner.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Empty and dispose of all garbage within the warehouse, ensuring that items are sorted and placed within proper receptacles.
Maintain and clean flooring using motorized floor scrubber
Use Material Handling Equipment to remove unusable pallets from racking and dispose or store them according to company standards.
Small handyman tasks as needed using motorized and non-motorized hand tools.
Clean and maintain racking.
Ensure that Fire and Safety laws and standards are being upheld by completing tasks such as ensuring fire exits are clear and clean.
Ensure that flooring is free of debris at all times.
Ensure that AIB standards are upheld at all times.
Clean lunchroom including fridges.
Maintain and clean locker area.
Ensure that white lines are clean and visible.
Check building and structures to ensure there is no visible moisture, condensation, or water.
Assist warehouse operations as needed with basic warehousing tasks. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

One (1) year warehouse experience
One (1) year housekeeping experience
