Bridge to Care Inc is a Faith-based Not for Profit Healthcare Organization that provides childcare services to families who have children/young adults with physical and mental disabilities.

When joining our team, you will work collaboratively with the parents and Program Coordinator to develop and implement strategies to help the clients overcome significant social, cognitive and behavioural challenges. You will have the freedom to propose and design appropriate activities and will work one-on-one with the children in their home environments, as well as public settings when appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

Patience and temperament to work with children on various developmental levels

Non-Violence Crisis Intervention Training Certificate will be an asset

Experience with Autism

Experience tutoring or helping children with school work is an asset

Experience working with children in a group home, school camp settings

Experience working with special needs children

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Canada work authorization

Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors

Current Child Intervention Record Check

First Aid and CPR level C

Reliable Vehicle & 2 million liability Insurance

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11pm-7am, occasional weekends

Salary : $15.00 per hour
