Shifts :Weekends only

Pay rate : $26/hr

Agile Healthcare Solutions, a leading staffing agency in the healthcare industry, is currently seeking a Child and Youth Worker to join our team in Belleville, ON. The Child and Youth Worker will work with children and youth in a variety of settings to provide support and assistance.

Responsibilities :

• Work with children and youth to develop and implement individual care plans based on their needs and goals
• Provide support and assistance to children and youth in areas such as emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving
• Foster positive relationships with children and youth and their families, as well as with other members of the care team
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
• Attend and participate in team meetings, trainings, and other related activities as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities

Requirements :

• Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care (Must)
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working with children and youth in a residential or community setting
• Valid CPR certification
• Vulnerable Sector Check Valid

Job Type : Part-time

Salary : $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Belleville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (required)
• Child & Youth Worker Diploma (required)
