We are currently seeking a full-time On-Site Labourer. Sarasota Homes and Realty has been serving all of St. Albert’s real estate needs for over 25 years. Our construction division focuses on one-of-a-kind custom-builds and our realty branch on client-focused sales throughout the Edmonton area. We have over 30 dynamic people on our team, and we are excited to welcome another team member to the family.

Our goals include providing exceptional client service, community-building, fostering an inclusive culture, and fully supporting our team members.

About the role - Key responsibilities :

  • Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools and other equipment are safely set up.
  • Operating equipment like drills, shovels and other hand tools.
  • Assisting with various trades people.
  • Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company's principles.
  • Clean up worksites from debris, hazardous or obsolete material.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Performing site and equipment inspections.
  • Attending meetings and workshops.
  • Completing on-the-job training.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines.

About you :

  • You are a self-starter, willing to roll up your sleeves, get things done, and complete action items.
  • You are exceptionally organized, have superior attention to detail, and can both multitask and prioritize appropriately.
  • You like to build relationships with others and proactively take on new challenges.
  • You are aligned with our company vision and values, which guide how we work.

Qualifications you bring :

  • One or more years’ experience in construction.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • This is an on-site/outdoor (8 hours/ 5 days a week) position.
