Your responsibilities

Order fulfillment - Inside sales:

  • Guide customers through the sales process, converting quotes into sales
  • Preparation and issuing of quotes to customers in a thorough and timely manner
  • Perform review of incoming orders and complete sales order entry process
  • Liaise with customers on price and delivery (order confirmations)
  • Conduct regular reviews of open orders and keep customers updated on their order status
  • Provide customer documentation as required for specific orders or contracts
  • Manage process through to contract review and finalization of sale, maintaining customer communication throughout
  • Reception duties; including directing calls, greeting customers, and responding to general enquiries
  • Responsible for the coordination and timely completion of non-conformances, returns and internal support requests
  • Review requests for service setup case and coordinate internally to have product inspected and assessment documented

Inventory - Shipping/Receiving:

  • Inventory control - receiving, determining if stock or part of an order, label, put away, prepare for shipping - keep inventory moving as appropriate
  • Pull orders and ship as per customer’s priority order on an “on time” consistent basis
  • Determine method and the best way of shipping valves, accessories, and other items, being the primary contact with all freight and courier suppliers
  • Prepares all related documents, customs forms, weigh bills and other shipping documentation as required
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips or related document
  • Maintain shipping log with all information pertaining to receiving and shipping of inventory
  • Other duties as assigned

About you

  • 2-3 years of experience in inside sales/customer service in an industrial environment
  • Naturally tenacious with a demonstrated ability to drive and support a successful sales culture.
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Natural curiosity and thirst for knowledge and continual learning.
  • Embraces change and recognizes that change is an essential part of progress.
  • Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail and excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to operate a forklift/lift equipment or willing to learn
