MCL Trucking is looking to hire a Logistics and Customer Care Coordinator : As the Logistics and Customer Care Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating and managing the dispatch process, optimizing routes, and maintaining effective communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams. You will be an essential link between our clients and drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, resolving issues, and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities Required :

• Obtaining work in the transportation business
• Bringing strong client relationships on board
• Coordinating Daily Moves
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and client interactions in accordance with company protocols.
• Oversee finance reports
• Able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
• Handle client inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, working towards swift resolutions to maintain high client satisfaction
• Positive and safety conscious attitude
• Analyze data and generate reports on dispatch efficiency, driver performance, and client satisfaction
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve our dispatch and client relations processes

Requirements :

• Must have extensive experience within the trucking industry

• Must be willing to jump into a truck and go out of town if needed :

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and team members

• Must have heavy haul experience

• Clean class 1 drivers licence

• Willing and able to go out of town periodically for work

• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or related field.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, drivers, and internal teams

• Proficiency with dispatch software and route optimization tools.

• Must have CSTS 2020, WHMIS, CSO, H2S and Standard First Aid

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

• Spruce Grove, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience :

• trucking dispatch: 10 years (preferred)
• knowledge of daily logs/permits: 10 years (preferred)
• financial reporting: 10 years (preferred)
• trucking industry: 10 years (preferred)
• Heavy Haul: 10 years (preferred)

Language :

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• TDG Certification (preferred)
• WHMIS Certification (preferred)
• CSTS 09 or 2020 (preferred)
• Class 1 Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (preferred)
