The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of vehicles on our lot. This position involves meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain a high standard of quality in vehicle appearance. The Lot Attendant contributes to creating a positive first impression for our customers and plays an essential role in maintaining the dealership's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Arrange vehicles on the lot in a neat, organized, and visually appealing manner. Ensure that vehicles are parked according to company standards and accessible for customer viewing.
  • Conduct basic inspections of vehicles to identify any cosmetic or operational issues. Report any findings to the appropriate department for necessary repairs.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as tire inflation, fluid level checks, and battery charging to ensure that vehicles are ready for customer use.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicles' condition, detailing activities, and any issues identified during inspections. Provide clear and concise documentation for the sales and service teams.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner when delivering vehicles for test drives or upon customer requests. Answer basic questions about vehicle features and assist in locating specific vehicles.
  • Coordinate with sales and service teams to ensure that vehicles are prepared according to schedule and customer expectations.
  • Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of detailing products, cleaning equipment, and other necessary materials. Report inventory needs to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. Follow company policies and guidelines related to vehicle care and workplace safety.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Car lot attendent or similar role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various vehicle makes & models is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
