Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate the yard forklifts in a safe manner once trained and certification has been achieved
- Operate saws, once given instruction for safe operation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs in a safe manner
- Stack and Pile Lumber
- Greet customers in a friendly manner
- Ensure all product leaving the yard has been invoiced
- Maintain a tidy and safe yard environment
- Be knowledgeable about the product in the store and yard
- Unload trans trucks with product for store and yard
- Use proper material handling techniques to ensure mínimal damage to yard inventory
- Be familiar with the grades and dimensions and species of lumber stocked in the yard
- Be able to work the yard during adverse weather conditions
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
