Reporting to the General Manager, the Manager of Maintenance and Operations will support the Yellowline Terminal by providing maintenance and operational leadership.Key Responsibilities include : Managing Yellowline (YL) Asphalt Cement Terminal Maintenance and Boots-on-the-ground Production Operations.Plan and execute terminal maintenance programs.Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as per YL Safety Practices and Procedures.Identify and become familiar with various asphalt cement specifications requirements.Manage subcontractor agreements and on-site services.Communicate and assist personnel in adjusting processes to conform to specifications.Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university preferred.Professional Engineer of Ontario.Minimum 10+ years related experience.Knowledge of asphalt technology is an asset.Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Results-driven with a focus on delivering success in a fast-paced environment.Outcome-focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.Superb communication and interpersonal skills.Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challengesOur purposeAt Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP), our people are second to none.
