Position Overview We require a full-time permanent Housekeeping Supervisor in Canmore that will make sure all rooms are guest ready and be a team lead with the help of the Housekeeping Manager. There will be some duties that are required to be done daily and others that only are needed on a case-by-case situation. A strong, motivated team is already in place, and we are looking for the same drive and commitment. Salary : $19.00-$20.00 per hour Full-time Permanent Shifts : 8-hour shift

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead a team of housekeepers with the help of the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Be the point of contact for your team on days the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Assist the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor with inventory and cleaning supply purchases.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/ requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
  • Use commercial laundry machine and dryers.

Skills and Experience :

  • Experience as a supervisor in a previous role.
  • Ability to lead a team and hold strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly.
