Loch Lomond Equipment Sales is an authorized dealer for Prinoth new and reconditioned snow groomers, Argo Xtreme Terrain Vehicles and FAT TRUCK®. Our core focus is to offer quality snow cats, support vehicles, miscellaneous equipment and product support to the winter ice road construction sector. We also offer grooming equipment solutions and product support to the skiing and snowmobile recreational sectors, as well as, remote access vehicle solutions for outdoor enthusiasts.

To support operational growth, Loch Lomond Equipment Sales is recruiting for a Parts Shipper Receiver to join our team. This position will report to the Parts Manager

Job description

Responsibilities :

  • Load and unload shipments
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents and put away in an organized matter
  • Receive and process shop and customer orders as required
  • Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
  • Pick and package parts for customer orders and arrange shipping
  • Complete the required documentation for all shipments including bills of lading, custom forms
  • Assist in maintaining parts physical and electronic inventory including assistance with inventory counts
  • Pickup up parts from suppliers
  • Maintain a warehouse that is clean and free of clutter or safety hazards
  • Adhere to all safety requirements
  • Provide vacation backup for the Parts Manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

Education and Experience :

  • Minimum secondary education
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting and in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment would be an asset
  • Basic computer skills

Requirements :

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of how or willingness to learn to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklift
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-reliant team player
  • Detail oriented with problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
