SUMMARY : Reporting to the parts department management, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and inventorying the parts and preparing all the documentation required in connection with the shipment/receipt of goods.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Perform the daily shipment of parts;
  • Carry out the inventory of parts;
  • Prepare orders for internal customers (service and workshop department) and external customers;
  • Use our ERP management system to receive and ship customer goods;
  • Complete the shipping documentation and update the computer system;
  • Ensure that all documents used when shipping parts are filed and signed appropriately;
  • Maintain good communication between the parts department, road service and workshop to notify the status of parts orders;
  • Ensure the supply of shipping material (boxes, envelopes, labels, purchase orders, etc.)
  • Coordinate external transport;
  • Participate in the daily and annual inventory taking process;
  • Provide an outstanding customer service, internally and externally.

REQUIRED PROFILE : Job requirements :

  • Excellent communication skills in French and have a knowledge of English, (oral and written) and be customer service oriented;
  • Knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook);
  • Expertise with ERP software (an asset);
  • Experience as a receiving/shipping clerk (an asset);
  • Forklift operation training (an asset).

Environment and working conditions :

  • Must be able to work long hours standing;
  • Must be able to lift loads weighing at least 50 pounds several times a day;
