About the Position

We are a growing company and seeking a detailed oriented and energetic individual to join us as a Production Worker at our Pitt Meadows Warehouse . This is a part-time (15 - 22.5 hours/week) with potential for more hours after training and experience. This position is primarily responsible for manual and semi-automated production line work of honey-based products and other miscellaneous bee products. There are long-term opportunities for growth in areas of food processing, shipping & receiving, quality control, food safety, and management. Responsibilities

  • Bottling honey-based products
  • Bottling and filling a variety of solid and liquid bee products
  • Labelling, capping, sealing, and boxing of various products
  • Package finished products for wholesale or direct-to-consumer shipment
  • Sorting and packing fresh berries (seasonal)
  • Sorting berries for dehydrated blueberry production (seasonal)
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the production space and daily cleanup
  • Miscellaneous production and warehousing tasks

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Physically able to lift and handle up to 40-50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
  • Strong attention to detail and a fast learner
  • Quick and accurate with hands-on work
  • Good sense of food safety, relevant certifications are preferred
  • Good English communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a team and independently

Compensation/Benefits

  • Starting salary of $18-19/hr depending on experience and skill set
