What would you be doing? - Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks. - Drafting detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation. - Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, assembling, and installing metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings. - Joining pipe sections and related equipment and securing in position. - Using testing equipment to check systems for leaks. - Maintaining and repairing piping systems.
