Receptionist (Evening & Weekend)

Key Responsibilities : JOB OVERVIEW

The Receptionist will respond to all incoming calls, greet, screen and direct all visitors, answering inquiries in a positive and professional manner, perform general receptionist duties, and keep reception and lounge area clean and tidy.

Shift Hours : 5:00pm-8:00pm (weeknights), 10:00am-6:00pm (Weekends)

This position is temporary with the possibility of changing to permanent.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer all incoming calls, and respond to caller’s inquiries in a positive, professional manner
• Redirect calls as appropriate and take clear, concise messages when required;
• Greet, screen, assist and direct all visitors;
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized reception area;
• Assist with small projects as required by other administrative support (i.e. labels, bulk mailing, etc.);
• Complete other duties as assigned; QUALIFICATIONS
• Above average interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Previous experience in reception is considered an asset;
• Must exhibit professional and polished telephone manner;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, work under pressure, and meet deadlines;
• Highly organized and detail focused;
• Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)
• Current TB screening (within 6 months)
• Fully vaccinated for Covid 19 (proof of vaccination required)

Job Type : Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
