Senior HR Advisor Primary ResponsibilitiesFosters positive working relationships with Supervision and Management to support employee relations and engagement.Provides advice and coaching to managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, attendance management, modified return to work programs, discipline, and performance coaching.Strong influencing skills coupled with a deep understanding of differing perspectives across the various operating departments in the business unit and from corporate staff.Demonstrated ability to plan, establish and achieve targets/standards, schedule resources, and assign work in such a way that team members can make effective use of materials, equipment, and tools to achieve a pre-defined schedule and goals.Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, including investigations, and disciplinary actions/terminations.Lead recruitment efforts for senior roles, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiation.Coordinate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.Support managers in identifying and addressing performance gaps and creating development plans.Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to junior HR team members and support their career progression.Provide site leadership and support to key HR processes including Performance Management, Compensation, Disability Claims Management, and Employee Engagement.Analyze global HR data and metrics to identify trends and inform HR strategies.Prepare and present HR reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration.Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex HR issues with discretion and professionalism.Excellent knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.Leadership capability and the ability to mentor and guide junior HR professionals.Strong digital literacy. Proficiency in HRIS, and data analysis tools with the ability to synthesize and interpret complex data sets.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Rotation: 4 on / 3 off Tuesday - Friday on site with accommodations and meals provided. Chartered flights to and from site and home for the weekend to be with family and friends.Flights are available from Toronto, Sudbury and Rouyn, QC.
