About Our Client

Our Client is a Hamilton, ON-based company in the business of manufacturing water filtration membranes. We are currently looking to train a Machine Operator to be a Glue Cell Operator.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Operate equipment safely and at target production rates
  • Follow SOP Operating Procedures
  • Monitor Status of Inventory and maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform product quality checks at the workstation
  • Complete documentation of quality and production data
  • Participate in and sustain 5S initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of quality specifications
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision in a team environment

Experience and Educational Background

  • High School Diploma
  • Background working with mechanical equipment in a hands-on role
  • Experience in Machine Operator position as an asset
  • Experience working with ABB robots as an asset

Work schedule : 12 hour rotating continental shifts from 7am-7pm then 7pm-7am

Rotation would be

Work Monday Tuesday

Off Wednesday Thursday

Work Friday, Saturday Sunday

Off Monday Tuesday

work Wednesday Thursday

Off Friday Saturday Sunday

Job Types : Full-time

Salary : $18.00 per hour
