About Krafty Kitchen and Bar
Krafty is a Top Chef owned and operated Contemporary Canadian Bistro with a 50 seat dining room and seasonal patio. Krafty has an open kitchen and prides itself on the quality of its food and seasonally changing menus. Our beverage program is ever changing with craft cocktails, local wine and beer. We believe in crafting as much of what we serve in house as possible. We offer 3 course dining and also have a variety of shared plates for a more relaxed experience. In addition, our culinary team creates daily features for both lunch and dinner using the best in season and locally sourced products. In addition to our dining room operations we do a variety of unique offsite events and catering including paired tasting menus using luxury ingredients and contemporary techniques.

The job expectations: Ensure consistency of preps
Line set up and tear down
Ensure the consistency and quality of all meals created
Create menus and daily fresh sheets
Assist the Chef with ordering and receiving of ingredients.
Contribute to the morale of our team
Thorough cleaning of the kitchen daily
What we’d like: Minimum 2-year experience
A passion for local ingredients
Knowledge of classic and contemporary cooking techniques
An interest in food and wine pairing
Physically able to meet the demands of the job including lifting to 50 lbs., standing for long periods of time
Flexible scheduling - working days, evenings and weekends required
Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary : $20.00-$26.00 per hour
