Our client, an Ottawa-based law firm, is looking to hire a Real Estate Law Clerk with 3+ years of experience in a legal environment. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for enthusiasts looking to put their best self forward and provide clients with the best service.Competitive salary of $50,000-$60,000About youTo be considered, you will need3+ years of experience as a Real Estate Assistant or Clerk in a law firm or legal environmentStrong understanding of real estate transactions and legal processesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using legal software and productivity tools, including Unity and TeraviewAbout the roleIf successful, you will:Assist lawyers with real estate transactions and documents (contracts, agreements, etc.)Conduct title searches and prepare title opinionsCoordinate and assist with real estate closingsMaintain accurate real estate file records and documentsPrepare and file legal documents with government agenciesMaintain confidentiality professionallyCommunicate with clients, maintain confidentiality, and provide excellent serviceStay informed on real estate laws and trendsPerks & BenefitsComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance)Generous PTO (paid time off)Wellness ProgramCasual dressFun company eventsConvenient on-site parkingApplied to this job already?
