Westlock Dental Centre is looking to add to our team or dental professionals. We are looking to bring on a sterilzation technition. This is an entry level position that you will have on the job training for. If you have an interest in the dental feild this is the position to get started with us! We have a fantastic and supportive team that works well together.
What this job looks like on a day to day basis:
- Perform technical procedures and tests for the Dental Practice.
- Collect and prepare specimens for analysis
- Operate and maintain laboratory and sterilization equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Record and report test results accurately under the supervision of the RDA team.
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Assist with patient management and operation flow of schedule.
Skills :
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures would be beneficial
This role is crucial to our dental practice clinical standards and operational flow. If you are looking to grow into a registered dental assistant, there are options to expand your skills and gain your certification.
Salary : $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
