Job Summary

Here is what a typical day looks like!

• Transporting finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure cargo is securely stowed.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, as well as report any mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with the standards outlined in the regulations of the Highway Traffic Act as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Verify and complete required shipping/delivery documents.
• Input and maintain data in an electronic log.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

The value you bring to our company!

• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as a Truck Driver.
• Valid Ontario AZ license.
• Familiar with Canada and US customs border clearance.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations such as traffic and weather conditions.
• Must undergo a criminal background check and show proof of a clean driver’s abstract.
• Possess a valid Canadian passport.
