Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications and renewable energy.

Requirements : KEY (CORE) DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create Truck Driver personnel timesheets in mVolts
  • Book travel for Truck Drivers
  • Create purchase orders in JDE and perform related receiving functions.
  • Collect and forward various documents to Corporate Fleet group as required.
  • Work with Major Projects Fleet team to ensure all relevant Fleet documents and Fleet administrative tasks and compliance items are completed and carefully managed, including registration renewals, annual safety inspections etc.
  • Create and maintain equipment information files for units utilized on Major Projects
  • Periodically review equipment information in JDE for accuracy
  • Assist rental coordinator with equipment rental related tasks.
  • Other administration duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years' experience in office administration role, Fleet background an asset, but not required.
  • College diploma or equivalent considered an asset, but not required.

KSAs (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES):

  • Excellent computer and organizational skills, including proficiency in excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact in a professional manner, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • JDE knowledge considered an asset, but not required. Ability and desire to learn new systems and Valard specific processes.
  • Must be able to work independently and as an effective member of a team.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Work well under pressure, with excellent time management skills.
  • Committed with a great work ethic, punctual and efficient.
  • Resourceful and takes initiative. Ability to track down information and find ways to improve systems and processes.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
