Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties :

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
  • Assist in seating guests according to their preferences and the availability of tables
  • Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
  • Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Help to manage waitlists during peak hours
  • Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
  • Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for new guests when needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in guest services, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes
  • Basic knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
