Location :New Dundee, Ontario, Canada Department :Turf Department Reports To :Superintendent Classification :Full Time Seasonal - Minimum 44 HRS/Week (must be available to work any shift including early mornings, days, weekends & holidays)

Summary : A level 1 operator is an entry level position that will be involved in various aspects of golf maintenance. These basic tasks are the day to day tasks that must be accomplished to ensure that the golf course is maintained at the level that we would expect. Golf Course experience is an asset, and although a level 1 position is entry level, it is an integral position.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Setting the Golf course for the day including emptying garbage’s, changing tee blocks

and moving ropes

  • Bunker maintenance
  • Trimming
  • Gardening and Mulching
  • Operate within set safety guidelines
  • Mowing
  • Addition duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications :

  • Able to demonstrate a growing knowledge of equipment operation as time

progresses.

  • Self motivated. Strong performer.
  • Able to positively interact with co-workers, and public.
  • An understanding of the game of golf is an asset.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit, and reach with hands
  • Ability to lift/move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
