This is an entry level position, providing an opportunity to develop your skills in a growth industry with opportunity for advancement.
As an Assembler, you will have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Your ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings and schematics, and follow them with precision is extremely important. Skills in assembling both metal and plastic components as well as electrical components such as power supplies and LEDs are assets.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Technical knowledge and ability to read and understand specifications
- Ability to use various tools and machinery (drills, saws, etc.), as required
- A focus on fine details, quality, good judgement and critical decision making
- Good communication skills
Duties include: Assemble components by using correct/appropriate fittings and fasteners
Verification of specifications by measuring completed products
- Load finished products and/or materials, daily
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures in place
- Document actions by completing production and quality records
- Check final product to ensure the highest quality
Salary : $19.00-$21.00 per hour
