Opportunity : FYidoctors has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Optometrist to work with our clinic in Smithville, ON!

The schedule for this Part-Time role is for 1 to 2 days a week and we are open to work with your schedule!

Our clinic is open on the following days and hours:

• Mondays 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesdays 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Wednesdays 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursdays 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Fridays 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Clinic : Our clinic is well-established within our community, having opened in 1998 and serving the community ever since, creating a large and loyal patient base. Our Optometrists are supported by warm, welcoming and close-knit staff. The majority of our staff are cross-trained in their responsibilities and help to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Further, many of our staff are familiar faces to our patients as they have been working with us for many years. We have many long-standing relationships with our patients, who range from small children and families to our community's elders. Our clinic is also the only optometry clinic in town and we have been able to develop fantastic relationships with our local physicians and ophthalmologists, leading to many referrals.

Location : Smithville, ON is located in Southern Ontario's Niagara region, and is home to a tight-knit community with a population of roughly 16,000. Living in the Niagara region means being nestled in one of Canada's iconic landscapes and Smithville blends together small-town living with being near to the amenities of larger cities and towns. Niagara Falls and Hamilton are both 30 minutes from Smithville, and Toronto itself is only an hour away! Further, the region is also home to some of Canada's best wineries and vineyards and is known for it's fruit industry that flourishes in the warmer climate. For the outdoor enthusiast, the area is home to many land and water-based activities. With Lake Ontario right on Smithville's doorstep and Lake Erie not much further away, boating, fishing, sailing, and swimming opportunities are abundant. Biking and hiking trails with gorgeous views surround the area, and the nearby Bruce Trail provides a chance to connect with nature along over 890 km of trail!
