The purpose of the Principal Resource Geologist role is to ensure delivery to the Resource Estimation function across Red Lake Operations with a focus on excellence, and continuous improvement. The role forms a key part of the integrated planning function and will ensure seamless interaction between Exploration, Reserve Definition and Mine planning functions.

Roster : 5 days on / 2 days off / 4 days on / 3 days off - 9-hour shifts

About our Operation

Our Red Lake Operation is located in an area where you will experience the best in Northern lifestyle, in the heart of a lake-studded, boreal forest region in Sunset Country. Red Lake is known for its natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and incredible Canadian fishing in the many freshwater lakes in the area. The Red Lake district is located 180 kilometers north of Dryden about 100 kilometers from the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. It spans 42,000 hectares and has produced over 29 million ounces of gold since 1949. Our Red Lake Operation includes underground mining and processing complexes in Balmertown and Cochenour, as well as the Bateman Project. As Evolution’s newest asset and our first in North America, we are excited by the opportunities here.

About the role

The Principal Resource Geologist role offers an exceptional opportunity to support and mentor Mineral Resource estimation professionals at Red Lake. The role ensures resource estimation risks, both opportunities and threats, are identified and managed.

Key result areas in this role include : Responsible for overall capability development and excellence in Resource Estimation at Red Lake.

Responsible for technical excellence in, and governance of : resource estimates for Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve reporting resource models for mine planning and major capital project development accurate and timely reporting of all royalty related agreements

Assists in the evaluation and implementation of relevant transformational technologies at Red Lake Effectively identifies and develops relationships with key internal & external stakeholders Creates relevant links and associations with key influencers inside of and external to Evolution Takes stakeholder expectations into account when making decisions Makes decisions that bring the highest value to both red Lake and stakeholders

About you

As a Principle Resource Geologist, you will have a BSc or MSc in Geoscience with a preference for postgraduate studies in a business-related discipline.

It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate : Must have broad experience in production geology, mineral resource estimation for long and short term mine planning, grade control practices, underground ore control across a range of gold deposit types

Preference for experience in advanced-stage exploration projects and geoscience contribution to major capital project development

Must have demonstrated stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

Must have demonstrated training, coaching and mentoring experience; Preference for experience leading geology & mine planning teams

Preference for demonstrated ability to drive excellence and support collaboration across multiple sites; manage complexity and deliver outcomes through virtual and flexible teams

Displays strong technical management skills including proficiency in risk assessment, contractor management, and technical project management

Sets performance standards and success measures for Resource Estimation & MROR to ensure clarity of direction &
