Known for providing its employees with a supportive and challenging atmosphere, fostering growth and personal development, IMP Aerostructures has an immediate opening for a motivated individual to join its winning team!Position Overview:The key purpose of this role is to coordinate and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance and modification of equipment, machinery, building and other facilities. What You Will Do: Plan, assign and supervise the work of the Maintenance Team. Manage the Preventative Maintenance (PM) System. Ensure cost, schedule and quality objectives are met as efficiently as possible. Ensure that a high standard of general maintenance practice is followed, and that all manufacturing equipment and the work environment is kept clean and organized. Manage key and lock distribution. Manage annual inspection process for fire alarm, sprinkler systems, Fire Safety Plan in accordance to the Fire Code and applicable regulations. Maintain a high standard of discipline and conduct within the maintenance team; counsel individuals as required. Ensure that all members of the Maintenance Team receive appropriate training and maintain applicable certifications. Develop, monitor and evaluate environmental programs to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations. Prepare environmental status reports and complete applications for environmental regulatory licenses/permits. Work closely with the Health & Safety Officer to promptly resolve Health & Safety and environmental issues. Manage sub-contracted services on a daily basis, negotiate contracts. Available (on call) 24/7 for emergencies Perform other duties as assigned.
