Little George’s Child Care Centre offers licensed full and part-time daycare for children aged 18-months to 5 years. The Day Care also offers programming for school-aged children, 6 to 12 years. Our educators encourage children to learn through spontaneous play to help them develop physically, socially, and emotionally.
EDUCATORS (RECE)/CHILD-CARE PRACTITIONERS
Qualifications :
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, and registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) is preferred
- Diploma or degree in child and youth care, recreation and leisure services, or a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) will be considered where applicable
- Must provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Able to work effectively as a team player
- Enthusiasm for working with children
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- First aid with Child/Youth CPR training is required
