Dispatcher Administrator

A Dispatcher is required to communicate with drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route. Furthermore, handling incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues. Interacts with customers, including customer service, sales, and operational staff. The dispatcher will uses GFL proprietary software to enter ticket information and track productivity.

Job Duties Providing reliable support and assistance to dispatch and drivers at all times. Entering data accurately and in a timely manner to build and close daily loads. Effectively processing and distributing daily boarder paperwork to drivers. Responsible for managing and updating data related to attendance and paperwork. Creating reports from internal data that communicate all relevant details to management. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to; sorting, organizing and filing daily driver paperwork and tickets. Taking direction from and working collaboratively with lead dispatchers to successfully complete tasks. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements : GED (High School) diploma. Post-secondary courses or diploma would be considered an asset. Valid license or reliable transportation to and from work. Experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook). Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Ability to perform tasks requiring cooperation and instruction. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of transportation industry and/or experience with border documentation would be considered an asset.
