Foundry Worker

The Foundry Worker will be responsible for conducting all operations within the Foundry to ensure that quality standards and productivity requirements are met.

Responsibilities and Duties : Reporting to the Foundry Supervisor, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with design team, production team, supply chain team, and quality team to produce high quality low volume castings in an efficient manner.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner.
• Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide and department objectives.
• Engage in all company-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Preparation of molds.
• Melting and pouring aluminum.
• Breakdown of molds.
• Heat treating of castings.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Journeyman Molder certificate considered an asset.
• Forklift ticket considered an asset.
• Team Player.
• Precise and detail oriented.
• Capable of heavy workload and multitasking.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing considered an asset.

Job Types : Permanent, Full-time

Salary : $32.00-$38.00 per hour
