Meseyton Construction was founded in 1968 and is proud to continue serving our community and region with year-round heavy construction capabilities. Meseyton Construction is currently looking to add a highly skilled Milling Machine Operator to our expanding team.

Job Description - Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Safely and skillfully operates the milling machine following all standard equipment procedures.
Responsible for proper usage of grade control devices.
Maintains equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance and repair tasks such as adjusting, fluid checks, replacing minor parts and lubricating equipment.
Responsible for daily checks of the milling drum, conveyors, and water supply systems.
Responsible for daily inspection and replacement of milling teeth on the milling drum to assure proper cutting patterns on pavement surfaces.
Must maintain an acute sense of awareness to the surrounding footprint of the machine (watch for obstructions while operating the equipment, such as ground utilities, curb, and gutters).
Maintain constant visual contact with co-workers on the ground and trucks in front of the machine.
Submit daily reports for safety and maintenance, hours worked, equipment and supplies used, and work performed, and any other documents required.
Must perform general laborer duties as assigned.

Experience & Job Requirements :

Applicants must have 3 years of prior experience operating a milling machine.
Job Requires the individual to have good hand eye coordination and comply with all industry regulations.
Must have a valid class 5 drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
