Overview of Affinity health

Affinity Health is a national staffing agency for Long Term Care Homes, Retirement Homes, Hospitals, private employers and In-Home Care that specializes in care by design. Supporting caregivers, residents, and clients in a way that meets their health needs, personal preferences & budgets.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self starter, Shift Fulfillment specialists. Their primary focus is to increase shift fulfillment with our client base. This individual will have a high sense of urgency coupled with technical problem solving skills and salesmanship to overcome barriers to a shift being filled with our clients. One of our clients provides opportunities within an app on a cell phone.

Responsibilitie s:

  • Maintaining low cancellation rates by caregivers and clients (Targets will be defined)
  • Support with maintaining profile accuracy for approved staff
  • Effective liaison with Application support team for related questions and concerns regarding usage and shift details for staff.
  • Clear and effective communication regarding shift availabilities
  • Visit/Shift Verification and follow up with staff to ensure visits are verified within appropriate timelines
  • Documenting and communicating manual shifts and discrepancies to allow for clean data validation for billing and payroll processes
  • Documenting and/or transcribing shifts into our internal scheduling tool; Alayacare
  • Adherence to policies and procedures as outlined by Affinity Health and BookJane for platform related tasks.
  • Additional Duties as assigned, as program evolves

Qualifications :

  • Self motivated and driven to increase sales
  • Key interest in problem solving and solution-based response practices
  • Customer service focused e.g High level of service excellence
  • Effective written and verbal communication practices particularly with those who do not speak English as a first language
  • Ability to support basic/level 1 technical concerns with health care workers
  • Efficient and Effective Time Management Skills and PracticeSchedule Coordination Experience (healthcare preferred)
  • Strong work ethic, organization, and time management skills
  • Adaptability in an ever change environment both internal and external factors
  • Proficiency with Excel and the Microsoft suite
  • Effective Team Player - (We’re a small team, but a mighty one!)
  • Independent work practices (Know and own your tasks, if you need assistance, no shame in asking for clarification or help!)

Trainable Skills although strongly considered assets

  • Experience with Alayacare
  • Bilingual Communication Skills
  • Experience working in a start up environment (We have great roots but we’re ever changing, ever growing)
  • Understanding of the scope of practice within caregiver fields (RN/RPN/PSW/Companion)

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
