Job descriptionThis full-time temporary position will be available starting from September 2024 at the Riverside School Board located at 7525 Chambly Road in Saint-Hubert or via telework. The mandate will end on June 30, 2027.NATURE OF WORKThe mandate aims to maintain a regional consultation mechanism for planning of the regional vocational training offer (PROCEDE Vocational Training Tables).The candidate would work to identify and implement concrete means to promote regional consultation of the vocational training offer. The educational organizations of each table are mandated to ensure the continuation of work related to the establishment of the regional vocational training tables.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESParticipates in the meetings of the regional coordinators’ tables organized by the Federation of School Service Centers (FCSSQ).Works with organizations in their administrative region (educational, community, and institutional) and represents their region at the meetings of the regional coordinators’ tables in vocational training.Collaborates with the FCSSQ in its mandates concerning the regional coordinators’ tables in vocational training.Participates in the follow-up and evaluation of the objectives of the regional coordinators’ tables in vocational training.Provides a partial report on the implementation of the regional coordinators’ tables in vocational training, presenting:The use of financial resources allocated for regional coordination and monitoring the evolution of the regional offer in the health sector.Provides an annual report on the implementation of the regional coordinators’ tables in vocational training, presenting:The actions experimented with.The results obtained as well as the tools produced.The effects on improving the accessibility of targeted services.The difficulties encountered.The facilitating conditions.The strategies for sustaining the actions.The use of financial resources allocated for the initiative to increase enrollments in vocational training.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program or hold a senior executive or senior staff position in a school board for which an undergraduate degree is required.Five years of relevant experience.A permanent teaching licence issued by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’enseignement supérieur (MEES);OTHER REQUIREMENTSCapacity to work well under pressure and within time constraints.Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.Excellent abilities in innovative practices and problem-solving.Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Excellent knowledge of English and French (both oral and written).Riverside School Board reserves the right to determine whether the admission criteria are met in whole or in part.SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS:In accordance with the Regulation Respecting the Conditions of Employment of Management Staff of School Boards, this position falls within the classification 7 between $ 84 101  to $ 112 133 according to qualifications and experience.APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE 4:00PM ON September 19th, 2024, THROUGH ATLAS WORKLANDRiverside School Board thanks all applicants for their interest but will only contact those selected.Riverside School Board has implemented an Equal Access Employment Program and encourages applications from women, members of visible and ethnic minorities, Indigenous people and people with disabilities.
