Description JSP Engineering Inc. provides structural engineering consulting services to clients across Saskatchewan and western Canada. We are a growing firm and are looking to hire key individuals that will play an essential role in the growth and development of the company. Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years of structural engineering design experience in Saskatchewan and be registered with APEGS as an Engineer-in-Training or a Professional Engineer. Must be proficient in English and have exceptional communication skills in both the written and verbal forms. This position requires an individual who can work both independently and as a team player on assignments with some mentorship and collaboration as appropriate for the given task. Must have the ability to foresee upcoming project requirements and plan accordingly to meet deadlines and ensure project success. Ongoing marketing and client liaison are expected to be a significant part of the position in addition to structural engineering design and collaboration between various design disciplines. Required Qualifications include: Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering Be registered with APEGS or be eligible for registration Experience with the design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures for commercial, institutional, residential, industrial, municipal and government projects Familiarity with Microsoft suite of programs Familiarity with commonly used engineering programs such a Sframe, Ssteel, Etabs, RISA, SAFE, MathCad Self-disciplined and capable of unsupervised work Project Management skills to supervise and manage a project from start to finish
