Registered Nurse - Travel Nurse Team

Provide culturally safe care for Indigenous patients and families in remote, isolated or semi-isolated areas across Manitoba.

Deliver primary care and public health services through a set of integrated and accessible health care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with community members to identify health priorities and address community health care prevention.
  • Perform complex activities in a wide variety of situations in primary/acute/intensive care, community health (public health and home and community care).
Requirements:
  • 3000 hours of clinical experience acquired within the last 3 years.
  • Recognized Canadian Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid CRNM license for Manitoba in good standing.
  • Up-to-date certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
  • Valid class "G" or equivalent driver's license.
  • Mask-fit Tested WHMISTDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) Medical Clearance from applicant's primary care provider.
  • Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance/Background check.
Profile:
  • Willingness and ability to travel in small aircraft, off-road vehicles, and by boat in varied weather conditions.
  • Comfortable working in a rigorous and diverse work environment.
  • Flexibility to perform on-call duties, work after hours/overnight, and on weekends as required.
