About the Role: The Canadian Health Care Agency is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Travel Nurse Team. As a valued member of our team, you will provide culturally safe care for Indigenous patients and families in remote, isolated, or semi-isolated areas across Manitoba. This role involves delivering primary care and public health services through a set of integrated and accessible health care services. You will work collaboratively with community members to identify health priorities while addressing and promoting community health care prevention. Requirements: 3000 hours of clinical experience acquired within the last 3 years. Experience related to performing complex activities in a wide variety of situations in either of the following areas: Primary/Acute/Intensive care, Urgent/Emergency care, or Community health (public health and home and community care). Education & Credentials: Recognized Canadian Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Valid CRNM license for Manitoba in good standing. Having an up-to-date certification in the following areas: Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers issued by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS). Valid class "G" or equivalent driver's license. Mask-fit Tested. WHMIS. TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods). Medical Clearance from applicant's primary care provider. Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance/Background check. Profile: We are looking for a candidate who is willing and able to travel in small aircraft, off-road vehicles, and by boat in varied weather conditions to communities in remote and isolated areas. You should be comfortable working in a rigorous and diverse work environment and be flexible to perform on-call duties, work after hours/overnight, and on weekends as required.
