CVNQuinte (Community Visions & Networking (Quinte) is mandated to support people who are developmentally challenged who may be Deaf, hard of hearing, or have a communication difficulty, and who need and seek assistance to enhance their opportunities to live interdependently and to access their community.
Support assignments are coordinated by a Support Coordinator and determined by each person receiving support. Applicants are required to have a fun personality, responsible, flexible and able to support people in a variety of situations.
The Community Support Worker team is uniquely flexible. Support ranges from providing help with daily home activities to a variety of interests such as learning to play an instrument, meeting new people with shared interests, playing a sport, or participating in a wide range of community events.
