Summary/Objective

The Employment Verification Supervisor position is responsible for supervising a team of 6 - 10 Employment Verification Specialists. Maintaining effective customer service for all TruckRight customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of the Transportation Industry as well as team members within the Department.

Essential Functions

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Employment Verification Specialist department. Providing leadership and direction to the team to ensure that an excellent standard of service is provided and maintained.

  • Develops and implements policies.
  • Responsible for employees’ coaching and development.
  • Partners with the management team to align the department policies and systems with the company's objectives.
  • Oversees customer issues and ensures effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Develops and implements procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the Department.
  • Monitors programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintains an in-depth working knowledge of the TruckRight systems and processes.
  • Sets performance standards to meet the service goals of the company.
  • Coaches the team in order to achieve high performance.
  • Structures the training agenda for department members.
  • Measures Representatives’ performance and makes employment decisions.
  • Provides feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Provides feedback to the operations team to ensure all customers have accurate and timely information on order status and/or changes.
  • Works continually towards self-development to stay current on customer service, sales, and supervisory procedures & practices.
  • Assists Representatives, Reps/Dealers/Sales in troubleshooting orders that require special handling.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and problem-solving in a professional and effective fashion.
  • Acts as a resource in resolving customer issues brought to the Department by utilizing excellent TruckRight process knowledge and strong skills in negotiating.
  • Ensure the full implementation of the Customer Services strategy across the business.
  • Ensure that the Customer Services function operates effectively and that the functions’ activities are aligned to departmental and Company objectives.
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are satisfactorily managed
  • Ensure that the Customer Services function is adequately staffed and trained to deliver an efficient service to customers.
  • Represent the Customer Services function as an active member of the Senior Management Team.
  • Actively promote and manage the process of continuous improvement in Customer Service standards within Call Enquiries.
  • Create and sustain a positive team environment displaying high levels of motivation and excellent team spirit.
  • Participate and contribute to relevant management meetings.
  • Promote effective communication throughout all levels of the Customer Services function.
