Job Title: Logistics and Warehouse Customer Service Rep Location: Pointe-Claire Industry: Transport & Warehousing Located in central Pointe-Claire, West Island of Montreal, a well-respected transport and warehousing company is seeking a well-rounded individual to handle customer relations, minor logistics duties, inventory and updates. Apply now: melissa.cumetti@randstad.ca philippe.pilon@randstad.ca Advantages Location - Pointe Claire Monday to Friday 40 hours a week Flexible hours, can start between 7ama and 8am Full medical and dental benefits (after 3 months) 2-3 weeks vacation Salary $52,000-58,000 Responsibilities - Be the main contact for the customer at the warehouse - Handle customer requests (receiving, shipping, inventory availability, etc...) etc...) - Plan inbound and outbound transportation and make the necessary arrangements - Ensure the accuracy of the inventory system (products, quantity, location, rotation, cycle counts, etc.) - Ensures the accuracy of the inventory (system vs. floor) - Generate relevant performance reports; - Plans and organizes activities in order to be ready to accomplish the tasks given to him/her - Plan and organize activities to ensure readiness to perform assigned tasks in accordance with efficiency, profitability, productivity, health and safety, and quality standards - Review manifests, bills of lading and air waybills to determine work procedures for acceptance or release of goods - Performs data entry for import/export freight shipments - Informs consignee or representative of shipment arrival dates, customs clearance requirements and shipment weight - Completes invoicing - Other duties and support as needed. Qualifications -Experience in the warehousing, air transport and import/export industries import/export industry; -Comfortable with computer systems -Focus on customer service -Spoken and written French and English; -Able to work under pressure; -Knowledge of 3PL Central and Neo an asset.
