Welding Supervisor

Overview

Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and coordinate welding activities within the workshop
  • Read and interpret blueprints to plan welding projects
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment such as Press brake machines
  • Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to complete welding tasks
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance
  • Train and mentor junior welders on proper techniques
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project deadlines are met

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Ability to operate a crane, forklift, and other machinery as needed
  • Strong knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in supervisory roles is a plus
  • must hve strong organizational skills

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
