Overview
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate welding activities within the workshop
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan welding projects
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques
- Operate and maintain welding equipment such as Press brake machines
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to complete welding tasks
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Train and mentor junior welders on proper techniques
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure project deadlines are met
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to operate a crane, forklift, and other machinery as needed
- Strong knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in supervisory roles is a plus
- must hve strong organizational skills
