Position SummaryShorelines Casino is currently seeking driven and energetic individuals to join our team as a full-time REG. SURVEILLANCE TECHNICIAN. Under the general direction of the Regional Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of video and access control equipment across the Shorelines bundle of properties, including locations in Gananoque, Belleville, Fraserville, and Peterborough. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates, and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities Repairs and maintains the CCTV and Access Control systems; installs new systems Installs and maintains technical software and databases Trains team members on equipment use Prepares and follows an approved Preventative Maintenance Schedule Research new products and technologies; provides recommendations Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directed Education and Qualifications Post-Secondary education in Electronics Engineering or suitable combination of education and experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical closed circuit TV environment Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Lift Training and WHMIS certification Ability to exceed internal and extern al customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication Computer literacy in MS Office Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License Valid Drivers License Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required Work Environment Considerations Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays) Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards and position.
